HDPE water pipe



BOYU HDPE pipe is a perfect solution for municipal engineering system and urban water supply and drainage system.

HDPE water supply pipes are manufactured from high density polyethylene containing only those antioxidants, UV stabilizers and pigments necessary for the manufacture of pipes. HDPE Pipes are intended to be used for water supply including the conveyance of raw water prior to treatment and that of water for general purposes.

What’s SDR & PN means in HDPE pipes?

SDR, also called Standard Dimension Ratio, refers to he ratio of the outer diameter to the thickness of the HDPE pipe, which is SDR=OD/WT.



PN refers to nominal pressure of HDPE pipe, referring to the normal pressure for water transportation at 20.

 

For the HDPE pipe made by PE80 & PE100, at the same SDR rating, the PN is different:

HDPE Water Supply Pipes Advantages

1. Non-toxic: no heavy metal additives, would not be covered with dirt or contaminated by bacterium. Sanitary. No Secondary pollution.

2. Corrosion Resistance: unaffected by chemical matters and electron chemical matters which cause corrosion in metals.
